This simple lace pattern is easy to memorize and easy to work. When you reach the ruffles, the pattern grows seamlessly from lace to increases that create the ruffles. Choose a yarn with great drape, which allows the ruffles to hang beautifully. This scarf is worked in two parts from the center outward. You begin with a provisional cast on, then work the first half toward the ruffle, binding off loosely. The provisional cast on will then be picked up and the second half worked toward the other end.
